Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga. It purports that you were born into one of three Doshas and there are certain lifestyle choices and diets that will support your dosha’s balance. Certain activities and even seasons of the year can nudge us out of balance. By determining our Dosha, we can make the best choices.

As – You’re a Vata dosha! You’re creative and when traveling from Point A to Point B, you don’t mind stopping to see the largest ball of twine. It’s easy for you to be distracted and you benefit from a routine that supports your varied interests. Ayurveda recommends grounding.
Bs – You’re a Pitta dosha! You know how to get from Point A to Point B better than anyone else and you’re not afraid to tell them. You’re easily frustrated and benefit from adding stress-reducing activities to your detailed daily routine. Ayurveda recommends calming.
Cs – You’re a Kapha dosha! You’re okay taking the scenic route from Point A to Point B even after the new, faster highway gets built. You are so loyal that even when something new and improved comes out, you’re hesitant to stray from the known quantities. You benefit from adding changes to your day that inspire you to action. Ayurveda recommends energizing.
If your answer ratio was 2-2-1, or 2-1-2, or 1-2-2, read the above and see if one “fits” better. If both serve you, consider yourself dual-doshic and try to implement aspects of both.
